This Privacy Policy explains how Boombree (“the App”, “we”, “us”), provided by Intellectero Solutions QFZ LLC (“Intellectero”), handles information when you use the App. Boombree is a video baby monitor that turns two of your own phones into a camera and a parent monitor, with on-device AI that alerts you to your baby waking, crying or moving toward the edge of the bed.

1. Information we collect

We designed Boombree to collect as little as possible. Specifically:

• No account & no profile. You do not sign up, log in, or provide your name, email or phone number to use the App.
• No analytics or advertising. The App does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs, and does not build an advertising profile of you.
• On-device settings. Your chosen language and your most recent pairing details (so you can reconnect to the same camera) are stored locally on your device only. They are not sent to us.
• Connection data (remote mode only). When you use “From anywhere” mode, our signaling server briefly processes technical data needed to connect your two devices — such as a temporary random session/room token and network connection candidates. This is used only to set up the live connection and is not used to identify you or stored as a personal record.

2. Video & audio

The camera and microphone are used to provide the live monitor and to power the on-device AI (movement/pose and sound detection). We treat this as the most sensitive part of the App:

• Processed on your device. The AI analysis happens locally on the camera phone. Alerts are generated on-device and sent directly to your parent phone.
• Local (Wi-Fi) mode. Video and audio are streamed directly between your two devices over your local network and never leave it. No server is involved.
• Remote (internet) mode. To connect two devices on different networks, the stream is carried over a peer-to-peer connection and, when a direct connection isn't possible, relayed through a TURN server we operate. In all cases the media is encrypted in transit (WebRTC DTLS-SRTP) and passes through only to reach your other device — we do not decrypt, record, store, or access it.
• No recording. Boombree does not record or save the video or audio stream.

3. Permissions the App requests

• Camera — to show the live video and scan the pairing QR code.
• Microphone — to stream sound to the parent phone and detect crying.
• Notifications — to alert you about waking, crying, edge-of-bed and lost connection.
• Network / Wi-Fi state — to establish the local or remote connection.
• Foreground service & keep-awake — to keep monitoring reliably while the app runs in the background.

You can review or revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings; some features will not work without them.

4. How information is used

Information is used solely to provide the monitoring features you request: to establish the connection between your devices, stream live video and audio, run on-device detection, and deliver alerts. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to operating the App.

5. Sharing & selling

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. The only server involved is the connection infrastructure we operate to enable remote mode, described above. We may disclose limited information if required by law.

6. Data retention & deletion

Because we do not store your video, audio, or a personal account, there is nothing for us to retain about you. Local settings and pairing data live only on your device and are removed when you clear the App's data or uninstall it. Temporary connection data used for remote mode is transient and not kept as a personal record.

7. Security

Live streams are encrypted in transit using WebRTC (DTLS-SRTP), and connections to our signaling infrastructure use TLS. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we design the App to minimize the data at risk by keeping media on your devices and, in local mode, on your own network.

8. Children

Boombree is a tool for parents and caregivers to monitor their own child; it is not directed to children as users and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Any video or audio of your child is processed to provide the monitor as described above and is not collected by us. You are responsible for using the App only to monitor a child in your care.

9. Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data. Since Boombree does not maintain an account or store your media, you can exercise control directly: adjust or revoke permissions in your device settings, clear the App's local data, or uninstall the App. If you have questions about your rights, contact us below.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, within the App or on this website.
